Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Print Production Specialist to join our team and oversee the end-to-end process of print production. This role is essential in ensuring that all printed materials meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and align with brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In this role, you'll be a hands-on professional who transforms digital designs into tangible eye-catching displays. From printing vibrant graphics to precisely cutting and mounting signage, your work will be the final step that turns creative vision into reality. You will collaborate closely with the designers, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate the production of a variety of printed materials which include banners, signage, case cards, table tents, drink lists, and wine lists. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials, ensuring color accuracy, and maintaining production schedules. You should have a deep understanding of printing techniques and finishing options. Familiarity with digital printing, as well as knowledge of file preparation and proofing, is essential.
This position is not eligible to participate in our work from home program. It requires that you work in the office Monday - Friday.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with team members to meet print deadlines and production goals
- Ensure print materials meet quality and brand standards
- Prepare files for print, ensuring that they meet the necessary specifications
- Select appropriate materials and printing techniques
- Ensure color accuracy and consistency across materials
- Operate large format printers, laminators and cutting equipment to produce high quality signage, case cards and display materials
- Mount printed graphics onto a variety of substrates (foam board, acrylic, PVC, aluminum, etc.) with precision and care
- Cut case cards and other printed materials to exact specifications using manual and automated cutting tools
- Prepare, package, and label finished products for delivery or installation
- Assist with on-site installations, ensuring signage is securely mounted and visually perfect
- Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace to ensure safety, efficiency, and consistent quality
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless work
- Ability to read and follow production specs, measurements, and design proofs accurately
- Familiarity with materials like vinyl, foam board, acrylic, and adhesives
- Comfort using hand tools, cutting equipment, and mounting machinery
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move signage materials (typically up to 50 lbs.) and work on ladders when needed
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Understanding of print specifications
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Ability to carry out assignments with little supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized; detail oriented
- Multi-tasking and stress management skills are essential for this position
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Compensation Range: $20-$24

Education/Experience/Training:
- Experience in signage production, print finishing, or a related field (large-format printing experience a plus)
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Expected to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve production efficiency and output quality
