PDN (Private Duty Nursing) for a patient with a G-tube involves a skilled nurse providing individualized, one-on-one care, typically in the patient's home, to manage the gastrostomy tube (G-tube). Responsibilities include: Administering tube feedings. Managing and cleaning the G-tube and site. Monitoring for complications like infection. Educating the patient and family on G-tube care and maintenance. Administer medications as directed by MD and follow care on POC.
