Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – PRN

Location: Destrehan, LAFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)Schedule: PRN / As NeededShifts Available: Day & Night Shifts

Connected Health is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to provide PRN coverage at one of our valued skilled nursing facility partners in Destrehan, Louisiana.

This is a great opportunity for CNAs looking for flexible scheduling and the ability to pick up day or night shifts based on facility needs and your availability.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.*
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.*
  • Obtain and document vital signs and other routine observations as required.*
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and maintaining resident safety.*
  • Report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to the nursing staff.*
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.*
  • Provide respectful care that promotes resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.*
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, other CNAs, and the interdisciplinary care team.*
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification in the State of Louisiana.*
  • Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.*
  • Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.*
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.*
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing resident needs.*
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective member of the care team.
