Park Lane Nursing Home is seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Nurses to join our team. This position is ideal for nurses who want the freedom to choose shifts that fit their schedule while making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.

We currently offer a variety of shift lengths, including 2, 4, 6, and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities available on both day and night shifts. While PRN hours are not guaranteed, we have ongoing staffing needs and welcome nurses who are available to assist with assessments, treatments, medication administration, and resident care.

PRN Commitment Requirements

To remain active in PRN status, team members are expected to:

·         Work a minimum of 8 hours per month.

·         Commit to working 2 holidays per calendar year.

·         Maintain flexibility to assist with staffing needs as available.

Key Responsibilities

·         Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

·         Accurately document resident care and clinical observations.

·         Perform routine resident rounds to ensure safety, comfort, and quality of care.

·         Assess resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.

·         Supervise, delegate, and support nursing assistants and direct care staff.

·         Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident-centered care.

Qualifications

·         Current, active Kansas RN or LPN license.

·         Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make sound nursing decisions within scope of practice.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing resident needs effectively.

·         Leadership skills with a commitment to teamwork and quality care.

·         Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
