Job Description:

SCOPE: Compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.

FUNCTIONS:

  1. Preparing prescription orders accurately and efficiently, verifying prescription information and dosage

  2. Providing quality customer service to patients and other healthcare providers

  3. Maintaining pharmacy inventory & maintains a safe and clean dispensary

  4. Maintaining records by recording and filing physician's orders and prescriptions

  5. Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing goals, seeking opportunities for development, and promoting a positive environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Pharmacy Technician License in good standing with the LA Board of Pharamcy

Clinic pharmacy experience required

QS1 experience required
