Description
- Prepare and manage estate, trust, and guardianship accounting and filings.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, deeds, and trust administration paperwork.
- Monitor and maintain client files, including estates, trusts, and guardianships.
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and family members.
- Research assets, debts, and legal issues related to estates and trusts.
- Prepare and collaborate on tax returns for estates and trusts.
Profile
A successful Probate Paralegal should have:
- Proven knowledge of probate and estate administration processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
