Location: Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, client-focused team.

Note: Candidates must have 1+ year of probate law experience. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a client-facing office environment are also essential.

Job Description

  • Support attorneys throughout probate, estate administration, and trust administration matters.
  • Participate in client meetings and help gather important financial and estate information.
  • Draft petitions, hearing documents, correspondence, and other legal documents for attorney review.
  • Assist with identifying, valuing, and managing estate and trust assets.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, financial advisors, and other parties.
  • Manage court filings, deadlines, procedures, and case calendars with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Conduct legal research and help keep matters organized and moving forward efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of probate law experience required.
  • Experience with estate administration, trust administration, or estate planning is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable maintaining professional business attire for client-facing meetings.
