Job Description

Objectives:

  • Perform tests for green-sand molding, core-making, and no-bake molding processes and correctly interpret results.
  • Perform chemical analysis of metal samples using an optical emission spectrometer.
  • Maintain organized records for sand system data and metal analysis data.
  • Audit molding and pouring processes and finished castings.
  • Perform any special testing or analysis as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required by supervision.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in metal and sand analysis preferred.
  • Must have a two-year technical certificate or degree in a related field.

Requirements:

Education: Two-year technical or college degree in related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in metal and sand analysis.

Location: Tallassee, Alabama
