Job DetailsResponsibilities:Responsible for day-to-day implementation of quality system, including hold/release decision, retesting, etcAddress problem-solving through comprehensive root cause analysis and implementing corrective measuresCollaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to standardize best practices and eliminate wasteLead and support technical projects focused on new product development and continuous improvementStay up to date and ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, certifications, statutory and regulatory requirements.Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost saving opportunities by identifying process, quality and safety related improvement projectsFacilitate communication of customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities across departmentsUse data analytics to monitor trends, identify improvement opportunities, and report on KPIsCoach and mentor QA and production team membersPromote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellencePerforms other duties as assignedQualifications: BS in Metallurgy, Materials Science or Mechanical EngineeringCo-op or internship in metallurgy focused role is preferredMaintain and operate tensile test machine and bending test apparatus to check conformity of rolled product to specification physical requirementsInterested in hearing more?
