Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Tulsa , OK Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100000 - $125000 annually Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Monday- Friday, normal business hours

The Process Engineer supports the mission of the organization by analyzing, designing, and optimizing operational workflows that increase organizational efficiency. This position collaborates with internal teams to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate current workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Map and redesign end-to-end processes.
• Support optimization of applications workflows, templates, and documentation requirements.

• Partner with Quality/Compliance teams to ensure processes align with regulatory requirements.
• Support performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop and update SOPs, policies, and training materials related to new or improved processes.

• Analyze operational data to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor process performance and track continuous improvement efforts.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and clinical teams.

• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure process solutions are practical and sustainable.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and Kaizen events to gather input and drive change.
• Support change management by training staff on new workflows and reinforcing adoption.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred.

• 2–5+ years of experience in process improvement, healthcare operations, or clinical workflow optimization.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to interpret operational and clinical data to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both clinical and nonclinical staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven.
