Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead process efficiency improvements in the blending. This includes the management of batch recipes, measures to control identified KPIs, and identifying capital project needs that will drive down cost and improve process efficiency.

· Own functionality and reliability of the DELTA V control system. Working with 3rd parties to maintain updates both instrumentation and platform, ability to make minor configuration changes, and developing of training materials and outline for operators.

· Work with leadership and blend team to understand process upset and the improvement actions required to mitigate re-occurrence,

· Collaborate with EHS team to create PHAs of the blending and tank farm processes.

· Partner with the quality team on creating and revising blend department work instructions and form required to drive standardization and identified sustainment needs.

· Work with blending team to identify cost saving initiatives and the develop of the metric to track savings.

· Assist packaging departments in understanding line speed balancing to optimize process lines efficiency and output rates, and the documentation of these process settings.

Education and Qualifications:

BS in engineering, chemical or mechanical.
This is an entry level position; 1 year of manufacturing experience, co-op and/or internship experience is acceptable.
