Job Title: Processing Buyer Location: Tulsa, OK 74119 (Hybrid - 3 Days in office, 2 days remote) Duration: 12 MonthsJob Description: Ensuring that all requests have clearly defined mechanical and performance specifications and/or scope of work to effectively communicate client requirements to potential suppliers Ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders/contracts in accordance with the requirements of internal customers and the approved supplier list, maximizing the savings achieved in each transaction Enters purchase orders into the ERP system Protecting client through sound commercial and legal terms incorporated in the purchase order or contract Managing all blanket orders to ensure expiration dates do not lapse before renewal. Establishing additional blanket orders Displays proficient knowledge and use of SAP and Oracle R2 procurement and reporting modules Proficient use of Google+ for e-mailResponsibilities: Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating for optimal pricing within budget. Process purchase orders and requisitions, providing regular status updates to management. Arrange transportation for goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery. Liaise with inventory teams, management, and the stockroom to coordinate logistics. Assess the quality of received stock and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management. Make informed purchase decisions based on demand and cross-departmental needs.Qualifications: Relevant experience is preferred. High School Diploma or GED. Excellent computer skills, specifically in Google Sheets, Docs, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is considered an advantage.
