Procurement Assistant Manager

Pay rate:$32/hr  Title: Procurement Assistant Manager Location: Jonesboro, Arkansas- onsite Duration: 11 monthsAbout the Role:Brand is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager –Procurement to support a critical insourcing initiative at our Jonesboro, Arkansas facility. This role serves as the primary procurement link between our supplier base, the Jonesboro planning and operations teams, and the DRSQ Sourcing organization. The ideal candidate will own supplier onboarding, contract and pricing management, purchase order execution, and procurement escalations, ensuring materials and vendor readiness to keep production running smoothly.This role will report to the Senior Sourcing Manager, Raw Materials.This is a temporary, project-based role based on-site in Jonesboro, AR. The initial term is 6 months with potential extension based on business needs.Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.What You’ll Do:Create and issue Purchase Orders for raw materials and packaging, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery datesOwn supplier communications related to purchase orders, delivery schedules, material availability, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholdersSupport supplier negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply continuity planningLead supplier onboarding activities, including vendor setup, documentation collection, and coordination with Jonesborough and Dr. Squatch teamsTrack sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, and procurement milestones to support successful project execution and launch readiness.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and material data across all relevant systems.Support ongoing procurement operations and supplier management activities following project launch and transition to steady-state operations.About You:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related fieldProven experience in supplier negotiations (pricing, payment terms, and lead times)Experience working directly with suppliers and executing purchase orders is requiredComfort working in ERP systems;ICAT, SAP, or Velocity preferredStrong supplier management and cross-functional communication skillsAbility to manage multiple workstreams (onboarding, contracts, escalations) simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the consumer products industry is highly preferredInterest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industriesSomeone who gets things done without perfect resources, is innovative, and works with a sense of urgencySomeone who has high standards, takes ownership, and is invested in the outcomeSomeone who proactively helps others, stays positive, and has a good sense of humor3+ years experience in Procurement or similar roles
