Position Summary
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to support procurement and contract operations. The ideal candidate will manage purchase orders, vendor coordination, and contract documentation to ensure timely and compliant procurement processes.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and requisitions. Maintain vendor records and documentation. Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Contract Coordination
Assist in maintaining contract records and documentation. Track contract milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements. Support contract reviews and communications with vendors.
Reporting & Documentation
Generate procurement and contract reports for leadership review. Maintain accurate records in procurement and contract management systems. Assist in process improvement initiatives for procurement workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with operations, finance, and program teams to ensure procurement needs are met. Assist in vendor communications and relationship management.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.• 3–5 years of procurement, contracts, or administrative experience.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/ERP systems.• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting government contracting or defense programs. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS procurement requirements. Experience coordinating multi-state procurement or contract activities.

Work Environment
• Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable).• May require occasional travel.• Must be eligible to work in the United States.• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance may be required.
