Procurement Intern

Purpose of the Job:

• The objective of this role is to develop a supplier training library for various business processes and stakeholders. The candidate will work with the procurement category leadership team and suppliers to identify training programs offered to Ardagh Metal Packaging by strategic suppliers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with the procurement leadership team to identify supplier training programs available to Ardagh

• Coordinate supplier meetings to capture supplier training information & materials

• Analyze data and align supplier training programs to business needs with operations, engineering, & HR

• Work with HR to identify target Ardagh employee role

• Identify training programs to be integrated into My Learning

• Create a supplier training catalog by

• Supplier, Topic, Description, Learning Objectives

• Format, Prerequisites, Proficiency Test Requirements

• Cost, Technology Requirements, & Time Commitment

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors' degree from a 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 GPA- highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience conducting research
• Self-starter
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow policies and procedures

The starting hourly base rate for this role is $21.00 and goes up to $24.00. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
