Job Description Summary

The Procurement Manager supports field operations with strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management. The primary The Procurement Manager leads strategic sourcing, contract administration, supplier relationship management, and overall procurement operations for client account. This role supports business development, new vendor contract transitions, and ongoing operational improvements by ensuring effective procurement strategies, cost optimization, and supplier performance. The position is highly visible and client facing, requiring strong collaboration with internal teams, external suppliers, and client stakeholders.

Job Description

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies based on spend analysis, supplier performance, and operational needs.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sourcing events, including eRFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and award recommendations.
  • Utilize strategic sourcing tools (e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e‑catalogs, contract management systems).
  • Ensure the use of preferred suppliers and diverse suppliers to meet KPIs and client objectives.
  • Identify value‑creation opportunities through data analytics, benchmarking, market intelligence, and category planning.
  • Apply AI and analytical tools to enhance supplier scorecards, identify trends, and forecast resource needs.
  • Collaborate with corporate Category Managers to align account sourcing activities with enterprise category strategies and preferred supplier programs.

Transitions, Transformations & Business Development

  • Manage all Procurement deliverables for new vendor contract transitions and major operational transformations.
  • Manage implementation and communication of new internal company software transitions, including training for account specific employees and vendors
  • Develop transition timelines, reporting, staffing plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support business development by identifying and articulating procurement value opportunities.
  • Create and deliver client presentations and regular reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Work cross‑functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and Project Management to ensure cohesive implementation.
  • Participate in corporate procurement initiatives including sourcing pipeline management, annual sourcing planning, and procurement program reporting.

Contract & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Interpret and negotiate commercial terms, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and client needs.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Risk teams on MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and procurement governance.
  • Lead supplier assessments, performance reviews, audits, and relationship management strategies.
  • Resolve supplier performance issues and ensure service quality across all contracted services.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with retention and documentation requirements, including Certificates of Insurance
  • Ensure supplier risk mitigation practices are followed, including insurance compliance, supplier qualification, and documentation management.
  • Support supplier onboarding and compliance processes through coordination with supplier management systems and risk platforms.

Operational Excellence & Reporting

  • Develop, install, and maintain procurement tracking and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure that best practices, policies, templates, and tools from both corporate and client programs are consistently implemented.
  • Maintain strong organizational processes to support compliance, audits, and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate regularly in client and internal meetings, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.

Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and mentor direct reports (e.g., Procurement Analysts) as applicable.
  • Conduct training on procurement processes, roles/responsibilities, tools, and systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovation efforts, and change management activities.
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives designed to support growth, operational excellence, and revenue generation.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.

Experience

  • 4-5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply management experience (facility services preferred).
  • Experience managing complex sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Prior involvement in transitions, transformations, or business development desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies and e‑procurement tools.
  • Legal and contractual knowledge, including ability to negotiate terms and explain contract details to stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including data interpretation and spend analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Self‑driven, resourceful, and solutions‑oriented.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using technology, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.

Certifications (Preferred)

CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., IPMP or other procurement‑related certifications.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 98,818.45 - $116,257.00
