Job Description

Position Purpose

The Procurement Specialist for Reefer FCL Export plays a keyrole in strengthening our global Reefer Sea offering by securing competitiveand reliable procurement of ocean freight capacity and related services. Therole supports our Americas Reefer export operations with a strong focus onvendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring Best-in-Town service for ourcustomers.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and negotiate rates andservice contracts with ocean carriers, NVOCCs, trucking vendors, and cold-chainservice providers.

· Secure competitive FCL reefer export rates andspace allocations.

· Build strong relationships with key oceancarriers.

· Monitor supplier service performance and driveimprovements.

· Support structured procurement strategy andidentification of target suppliers.

· Collaborate with Operations to ensure procuredservices match cargo requirements.

· Assist with escalations on priority shipments.

· Monitor and analyze cost structures and findoptimization opportunities.

· Maintain procurement data, tariffs, and vendorinformation.

· Work closely with Sales, Operations, CustomerService, Finance, and Reefer leadership.

Qualifications

· 2–5 years experience in ocean freightprocurement, freight forwarding, or reefer logistics.

· Knowledge of reefer container equipment andtemperature‑controlled logistics.

· Negotiation experience with carriers or vendors.

· Analytical mindset and ability to evaluate coststructures.

· Strong communication and stakeholder managementskills.
