YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Procurement Specialistisresponsibleforthepurchaseofelectricalequipment,constructionmaterials, and issuing subcontracts. This position will manage, plan/forecast, procure inventory with the Procurement Department for multiple suppliers, maximizing metrics aligned with Company corporate strategic directives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Receiveverbalandwrittenrequisitionsformaterialsandequipmentfromprojectmanagersandfield operations.
Reviewandsourcematerialsandequipmentinaccordancewithestablishedcompanypracticesand procedures.
Solicitquotationsfromvendors.Review,analyzeandpresentfindingstomanagementwith emphasison best economicvalue and defined company procurementobjectives.
Generateanddistributepurchaseordersaccordancewithestablishedcompanyprocedures.
Responsibleforthetrackingandexpeditingofallexistingorders.Updateandmaintainschedulingin procurement system.
Supportestimatingdepartmentbycontactingvendorsforbudgetaryquotationsformaterialsand equipment in the preparation of bids.
Solicitandpreparesubmittaldocumentationinsupportofprojectmanagers.
Performadditionaldutiesasdirectedbycorporatemanagers,ordivisionmanager.
Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethe generalnatureandscopeofworkbeing performed by this position.This is not acomplete listing and other duties will beassigned basedon the position’s role within the business unit.

WORKINGCONDITIONS:
Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
