About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Own the product and experience strategy for Digital Solutions, aligning roadmap priorities to customer, patient, commercial, and business outcomes.
Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Product Owner organization, building a high-performing team with strong technical product management capability.
Provide leadership across TPOs with varying levels of technical depth, setting a consistent bar for execution, decision-making, and product accountability.
Translate company and portfolio strategy into clear product direction, outcome-based roadmaps, and measurable priorities.
Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Systems Engineering, UX, Program Management, Commercial, and R&D to turn strategy into scalable, high-quality releases.
Bring strong technical product leadership across mobile, web, backend, and platform services, with credibility in architecture, sequencing, and delivery trade-offs.
Drive clarity in ownership, decision rights, governance, prioritization, and execution cadence across the Products and Experiences operating model.
Ensure product discovery, delivery, quality, compliance, and release readiness work as one connected system.
Champion a builder culture with a startup mindset: high ownership, bias for action, rapid learning, and disciplined execution.
Use data and operating metrics to improve product outcomes, delivery predictability, throughput, quality, and customer impact.
Support platform reuse and shared capabilities in partnership with Platform, Architecture, and Engineering leaders.
Serve as the senior product and experience leader with executive stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of priorities, trade-offs, risks, and performance.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience across Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Leadership, Engineering, or Technical Program Leadership.
Prior hands-on software development experience required; strong preference for candidates who began their career in software engineering or development.
Strong technical fluency across modern software delivery, including experience across mobile, web, backend, and platform or service-oriented environments.
Proven experience leading technical product teams, including Technical Product Owners, Product Managers, or similar roles.
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business goals into product strategy, executable plans, and measurable outcomes.
Strong experience operating in cross-functional, matrixed organizations and influencing without formal authority.
Builder mindset with experience in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong international business acumen and cross-cultural leadership capability.
Significant international experience, including lived and/or professional experience across multiple regions; experience in both the US and Europe is strongly preferred.
Fluent English required; proficiency in at least two additional languages strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, med-tech, life sciences, or finance.
Familiarity with React Native, Go, Python, cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, and modern quality engineering practices.
Experience scaling product operating models across multiple teams, geographies, and product lines.
Experience leading organizational change, not only product delivery.
How This Role Works with Key Stakeholders
Leads the TPO function and ensures technical product execution is aligned with product strategy and business priorities.
Partners with Engineering and Architecture leaders on solution direction, sequencing, technical trade-offs, and long-term platform evolution.
Works with Commercial and business stakeholders to align product investments with customer and market needs.
Collaborates with UX and Experience teams to ensure products are intuitive, differentiated, and outcome-oriented.
Works closely with Program Managers to ensure delivery plans, dependencies, and release readiness support portfolio success.
Acts as the senior connector between strategy, technical execution, and organizational performance.
The base pay for this position is
$197,300.00 – $394,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
