Job Description:
General Summary of Position:
Support the Nutrition, Label and Compliance team for Exclusive Brands by helping with the label development process. Responsible for assisting the Product Compliance and Nutrition Analyst with technical questions, nutrition data analysis, artwork review and first production label approvals.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and workflow of technical information utilizing web-based project management applications.
- Follow-up with supplier on outstanding specification requests as necessary.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure the specifications are accurate, complete and compliant with regulatory guidelines and WFM Quality Standards.
- Assist with reporting specification related information to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with technical information management.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary.
Requirements:
- 2+ Prior experience working in a time-sensitive project-oriented environment.
- Must be detail oriented and extremely organized.
- Works effectively both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting established timelines
- Must possess excellent communication skills
Preferences:
- Excellent computer skills and accuracy
- General understanding of product development and commercialization
- Familiarity with retailer web-based specification systems is ideal
- Some experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional is helpful
Top 3 Must Have Hard Skills:
- Minimum 2 years experience in label and art work review for food regulations and regulatory compliance
- Gensis software experience
- Knowledge of food labeling and FDA/USDA regulation
- FDA Menu labeling experience
- Food manufacturing experience
Nice to haves:
- Experience in working product lifecycle management system
- Strong project management skills
- Experience working in consumer-packaged goods industry

- 2+ Years of experience
Disqualifies
- No label experience or no experience not working food compliance regulatory labeling
Performance Indicators
- Completing work and adhering to regulations
Degree/ Certification Requirements
- BS or equivalent experience in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science or Quality Assurance.
- BS or equivalent experience in food labeling
