Product Design Admin- HoustonA luxury homebuilder located in the inner loop of Houston is seeking a Product Design Admin to add to their team. Candidates must have previous or current experience working with a residential homebuilder. Responsibilities include:Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & Selection Packages· Develop and maintain curated finish packages for homes including tile, flooring, countertops, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and hardware· Periodically refresh design packages to keep the product competitive while maintaining cost discipline· Maintain a centralized database of all approved selections and materials· Organize and maintain physical samples and design boardsVendor & Procurement Management· Source and maintain relationships with finish vendors and suppliers· Negotiate pricing with vendors to maintain competitive costs· Track product pricing and monitor changes in vendor costs· Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure finish selections align with project budgets· Identify new products and vendors that improve value, durability, or aestheticsPlan Coordination· Work with the companys draftsman or architect on minor floor plan or elevation adjustments· Maintain an organized library of all floor plans and revisions· Ensure design selections coordinate properly with architectural plansBudget & Cost Control· Maintain detailed spreadsheets tracking finish selections, pricing, and vendor information· Ensure all selection packages stay within target budgets· Monitor cost changes and recommend adjustments when needed· Assist in maintaining cost consistency across multiple homes#HOUGW34
