Job Description

Job Title: Art Director for Retail Story Design Location: Beaverton, OR Salary Range: $57-60 Introduction

We are seeking an innovative Art Director for Retail Story Design to support and develop consumer-led retail concepts and the evolution of our retail business. This role requires a strategic, collaborative, and creative team leader who will develop impactful and scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of brand design experience demonstrating creative sophistication in concepts and design/visual communications; includes at least 3 years of management experience.
Bachelor's/master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote.
Retail industry experience preferred, including retail environments, concepts, and programs.
Must have a portfolio for team review.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, SketchUp, Unreal Engine.
International experience beneficial.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Create, refine, and evolve non-seasonal retail storytelling across the full company stores portfolio.
Lead projects to realize innovative, original retail displays and digital solutions for retail environments.
Provide leadership development and design direction to junior-level designers.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to complete multiple projects using design processes and standard methodologies.
