Job Title: Lead Designer, Basketball Apparel Color Design
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $40-47
Introduction
Join our dynamic team to help shape the future of basketball apparel color design. This role is perfect for a creative individual with a passion for sports and a keen eye for color theories in footwear and apparel.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator
- Good foundation/knowledge of textiles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience required in a similar role
- Degree preferred
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to present to internal and external audiences
- Experience with both footwear & apparel
- Ability to translate consumer insights and tell a story
- Excels under tight deadlines and is versatile
- Ability to prioritize well
- Passion for sports
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support seasonal direction work and drive compelling new color theories in basketball footwear
- Work on the footwear expression team, reporting to VP of basketball (women’s & men’s)
- Engage in lots of cross-functional work within a team of approximately 10 others
