Introduction
Join our dynamic team as a Materials Developer where you will play a crucial role in driving the materials development process. This position will focus on ensuring product excellence and timely delivery for both consumers and athletes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry, Product Development, Product Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
- Minimum 6 years’ directly applicable work experience
- Solid understanding of various material manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of the footwear product creation process
- Prior work experience in the client's industry
- Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Experience in materials/product creation process specifically within footwear
- Previous experience working with a material manufacturer
- Lab testing and ability to interpret results
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage the materials creation process for assigned materials ensuring on-time delivery and development according to critical dates and specifications
- Engage in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are managed according to critical dates and completed on time, while meeting design intent, performance goals, costing/profitability, and sustainability targets
- Ensure that projects are ready for the commercialization process and can ultimately be manufactured
