Product Design Engineer

Must have Skill Set: Strong Solidworks experience Overview: We are seeking a Product Design Engineer with experience in plastic part/product design to support updates and improvements to existing products in a regulated environment. This role focuses on design modifications based on testing and prototyping—not concept design. Job Duties: Modify existing mechanical designs using SolidWorks Update engineering drawings, revisions, and documentation Apply Design Control principles throughout product development Work on products with mechanical mechanisms and moving parts (springs, collapsible features, etc.) Support design changes based on testing and validation feedback Qualifications: 3+ years of mechanical design experience Strong SolidWorks skills Experience with plastic parts and mechanical assemblies Solid understanding of engineering drawings and revision control Knowledge of Design Controls Medical device experience and ISO 13485 knowledge preferred Experience in other regulated industries (aerospace, defense, etc.) considered Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
