Job Description
Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Product Design Technician for their Cookeville, TN location.Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains specifications (drawings and models) of Client products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.
- Ensures model and drawing quality.
- Creates and maintains product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.
- Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control and to maintain security.
- Ensures application of company, industry, national, and international standards.
- Processes internal engineering work requests. Engages with required functional areas as needed.
- Participate in the maintenance of standards and practices which ensure quality.
- Participate in Drawing Quality Reviews.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings (read and interrupt)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
- Detailed oriented and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read and interrupt engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and interrupt engineering test specifications.
- Ability to process engineering releases.
- General ability of Excel and office tools for data entry.
- Detail oriented and critical thinking skills
