Job Description

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Product Design Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cookeville, TN. Details of the position are as follows: Job Description:

Pay is $30/hr to start!!
6 – month assignment with the potential for extension based on performance and budget.
Monday – Friday (hours of either 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Ensures model and drawing quality.
Creates and maintains product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.
Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control and to maintain security.
Ensures application of company, industry, national, and international standards.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma/ GED is required.

Engineering Drawing Interpretation - Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, engineering test specifications..
Understand views, dimensions, tolerances, notes, materials, etc.
Familiar with GD&T
General ability of Excel and office tools for data entry.
Experience with any CAD software (such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, etc.)
