Job Description
National Ramp is seeking a dedicated and innovative Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will drive the design and development of innovative ramp products that enhance accessibility and improve quality of life for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product design, development, and testing of new ramp and accessibility solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales to bring products from concept to production.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing processes.
- Perform analyses to ensure products meet safety, durability, and usability standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance and cost-efficiency.
- Research and apply new materials and technologies to enhance product innovation.
- Manage prototyping and testing phases to validate design concepts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering field.
- 3+ years of product development experience, preferably in manufacturing or accessibility products.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for product design and drafting.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product testing standards.
- Experience with prototyping and conducting product testing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Location: Valley Cottage, NY (On-Site)
Salary: The salary range for this position, based in Valley Cottage, NY, is $125,000 $150,000 per year, plus incentives. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
