Product Development Engineering - Tech 1

• Job Title: Tech I, Product Development Engineering
• Location: Covington, GA

• This role supports product development through routine testing, data collection, and documentation.
• The technician will work closely with engineers and scientists to execute test protocols and maintain lab operations.

• Conduct routine physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of prototypes and components.
• Understand the operation of equipment and instruments, including measurements of dimensions, temperature, pressure, and flow, among others
• Prepare samples and test setups according to defined protocols.
• Record and analyze test data, generating clear and accurate reports.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure calibration and cleanliness.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and safety procedures.
• Generate Standard Operating Practices and/or procedures for new testing configurations and/or train others on their operation
• Support documentation for design verification and validation activities.

• Associate's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., biology, chemistry, engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory or testing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
