Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership

Responsible for supporting the product development team for Uncle Crumbles, under the direction of the Product Development Associate.

Core Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with the product development team to reproduce samples and prototypes.
• Assist in receipt, production, packaging and shipping sample orders and requests.
• Maintain/organize development retains and recipe documentation.
• Understand allergen control.
• Maintain an organized and clean lab area.
• Assist and participate in sensory evaluations.
• Culinary abilities including, but not limited to, baking, stove top prep, and formula balancing.

• Ensure that Uncle Crumbles GMP and HACCP plan are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

• High School Diploma, Culinary or Food Service experience preferred.
• Reports to Director of Product Development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Nutritional database a plus.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations software.
