    • What’s New content for each release
    • Release notes
    • Licensing information
  • Test software features and collaborate with colleagues to understand functionality and write effective documentation
  • Identify and report software issues to development teams, then verify fixes through testing
  • Occasionally contribute to or review documentation for other Esri products, such as ArcGIS Drone2Map, AllSource, and Reality Studio (among others)
  • Respond to user feedback on documentation and make updates or improvements as needed
  • Produce screen-capture videos to demonstrate software functionality or tutorial workflows

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with GIS concepts and workflows
  • Background in technical or academic writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write clearly for a technical audience
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • Portfolio submission: writing samples of your recent work
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with GitHub or docs-as-code workflows
  • Familiarity with Esri products, especially ArcGIS Pro
  • Understanding of Agile development processes, particularly Scrum
  • Ability to produce screen capture videos
  • Experience writing blog content
  • Master's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
