Great American's culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday-Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to and supports divisional premium volume growth and profitability goals.

  • Assists with preparing and submitting insurance product filings, including policy forms, rates, and rules, to state insurance departments.

  • Monitors and assists with tracking the status of filings, ensuring timely responses to regulatory inquiries.

  • Participates in collaborating with product development, actuarial, and legal teams to gather necessary information for filings.

  • Assists with maintaining detailed records of all activities related to filings.

  • Assists in reviewing and interpreting state insurance regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Provides regular updates and reports to management on filing activities and outcomes.

  • May assist with implementing process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Enters data into appropriate systems and researches and resolves data errors.

  • Participates in identifying opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Assists with gathering information for product development, such as competitor filings.

  • Assists with performing audits on underwriters and policy issuers.

  • Supports appointment of external producers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
