Join us as a Product Management Specialist at Itron, where you'll be the driving force behind our Mobile Software and Equipment for the Networks Business. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and external partners to define detailed product designs, functional specifications, project plans, and testing strategies that support innovative and reliable utility and energy solutions.

  • Act as a customer-centric and accountable partner to sales and service delivery teams by supporting pricing, delivery coordination, and technical inquiries to enable successful customer outcomes.

  • Lead engaging technical presentations for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, clearly communicating product capabilities, value, and differentiation across utilities and energy markets.

  • Represent Itron at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events, promoting product solutions with authenticity, collaboration, and enthusiasm.

  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, training, engineering, partners, and installation teams to develop accurate, accessible, and compelling product documentation and enablement materials.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert by delivering product training to internal teams and guiding service delivery teams on evolving technologies and best practices.

  • Provide expert consultation to support the planning, design, and development of technical solutions that align with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.

  • Take ownership of complex technical support cases, working collaboratively and accountably with internal teams to drive resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.

  • Deliver ongoing technical support and case management through multiple communication channels, building trusted relationships with partners and customers.

  • Investigate technical issues, collaborate with engineering and support teams, and proactively drive issues to closure using an agile and solutions-oriented approach.

  • Travel up to 10% to support customer engagements, partner collaboration, and industry events.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a strong technical foundation, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative technology environment serving utilities and energy customers.

  • Demonstrated accountability for delivering high-quality, customer-focused outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and inclusively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Results-driven and proactive mindset, supported by strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Highly organized, flexible, and agile, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a global or cross-regional environment.

  • Experience supporting or delivering technology solutions within the Utilities & Energy sector.
