Product Manager

Fastbreak AI is a cutting-edge SaaS company transforming the way sports organizations manage scheduling, operations, and sponsorships. Our AI-powered platform is trusted by the world’s biggest leagues, teams, and brands to streamline logistics, maximize revenue, and enhance the game experience. 

As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking for a stand-out Product Manager to lead the development of our web and mobile applications to shape the future of sports technology. This is an in person position in Charlotte, NC.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this position is able to deliver products quickly in a startup culture while simultaneously shaping long-term strategic initiatives. This is a technical product position and requires hands-on experience with Git, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to manage product lifecycles efficiently. Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is a plus to enhance workflow and efficiency. 

This role reports directly to the SVP of Product and will collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and customers to build and launch innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Capture requirements and user stories and manage feature priorities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to drive development efforts using Git and agile methodologies.
• Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic planning.
• Engage with customers, stakeholders, and partners and translate loosely defined problems into actionable requirements.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Identify and resolve products gaps based on data feedback and observation.
• Utilize AI-powered productivity tools (i.e Cursor) to improve workflows and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive go-to-market strategies and product launches.
• Track key performance metrics and continuously improve product offerings.

What We’re Looking For

• BA/BS degree
• 4+ years experience in software product management, preferably with a B2B SaaS company
• Strong technology background, with an understanding of modern software development.
• Comfortable working alongside engineers daily, contributing to technical discussions, and writing specs that don't need to be translated.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scrappy startup environment with a focus on rapid iteration.
• Posses strong self direction and ability to identify what needs to be done without being told.
• Strong customer-facing skills, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance immediate product needs with long-term strategic vision.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong experience with agile product development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools to enhance product management efficiency.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS), and software development workflows.
• Understanding of product analytics, A/B testing, and performance tracking.

This is an onsite position in Charlotte, NC.
