Product Manager - Retail Product Lines 3

Job Title: Product Manager Retail Product Lines 3 (Basketball Apparel) Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months ABOUT THE TEAM You will work closely with the Basketball Senior Product Director as well as Design, Technical Development, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, and elite athletes. Team scope: Basketball FBAT Apparel Product Management, Global Jordan, JRD AP FBAT & Golf. The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of basketball, fashion and performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for the brand and product, and confidence with verbal and written communication. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON - You will manage and oversee the product creation for our basketball consumer. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work. You will lead product and design reviews, connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participate in cross-functional meetings, create compelling visual tools to influence design, merchandising and our downstream geography partners. WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH - Basketball Senior Product Director, Design, Technical Development, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, and elite athletes partnering cross-functionally with Geo teams. MUST-HAVE " Bachelor s degree in marketing, Retail Merchandising, Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. " Minimum 5+ years' relevant experience in product-related roles (Product Line Design/Management with apparel performance wear products; open to streetwear with a strong passion for basketball). " Must have Product management experience. " Basketball industry or culture experience a genuine passion for basketball. " Knows how things get from point A to B can take a project from start to finish. " Getting Geo feedback and implementing those changes into the design. " Ability to communicate in consistent, clear, agile, and timely manner with cross-functional partners written and verbally. " Leads by example and can hold team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering quality work. " Ability to travel up to 30% domestic and international. NICE-TO-HAVE " Knowledge in performance apparel is a plus. " Self-starter, can hit the ground running, takes initiative to learn processes and take on new challenges, comfortable in fluid and ambiguous environments. " Strong communication skills, working highly cross functionally with Geo teams, can talk up or down seniority levels as needed. " Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a 'one team' environment across functions. " Ability to operate effectively even when the way forward is not clear and to take an ambiguous situation and create a clear path forward for the cross-functional team. " Strategic thinking with ability to balance elite athlete needs and unlock retail opportunities. " Previous our client/industry experience: highly preferred.
