Product Management at InMobi:

Our Product Managers at InMobi own the business strategy behind the product by building subject matter expertise, define its functional requirements aligned to various user personas through PRDs, and drive the launch of product features by owing the management of its development cycle with peer Engineering teams. We design world-class products within one of the fastest growing companies in this space with a truly global footprint.

About CDR Product Team:

Aligned to InMobi's vision, one of the priorities of the CEO's office is to look at Enterprise system transformation & consolidation of products & business systems for - unlocking productivity, realizing efficiencies, streamlining critical business process flows and integrating cross-system architecture to achieve a lean and agile organizational set up.

Our Product Managers in the CDR Product Team have a strong understanding of the company's underlying business, data, product and process challenges in reporting frameworks, translating them into long term sustainable product solutions that are applicable across InMobi's expanding & diversified business, finance & strategy units. This team will work across a spectrum of enterprise systems and internal products building end to end features and capabilities that help establish a fully integrated blueprint of company's data architecture and system landscape. Our CDR Product Manager will need to go deep and understand business operations across the End-to-end value chain covering Lead generation, Sales & CRM, Order fulfilment, Reporting & Finance to identify 'product modifications, enhancements and system integrations' keeping the larger inter-connected ecosystem in mind. They need to be extremely agile and on top of technology. They need to think big, multi-task and be able to deal with ambiguity with a positive attitude, in fact, thrive in it to deliver positive timely outcomes.

In the role of an CDR AI Product Manager for Central Data Repository Product Team, responsibilities include however not limited to the following:

Core AI Technical Skills

  • Foundational ML Literacy: Deep understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, neural networks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Model Lifecycle Management (MLOps): Proficiency in managing the unique lifecycle of AI products, including data collection, model training, validation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring for model drift.
  • Modern AI Architectures: Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and multimodal systems.
  • AI Prototyping: Ability to use low-code/no-code tools (e.g., v0.dev, Lovable, or Gradio) to build functional AI prototypes for rapid validation

Data & Analytical Competencies

  • Data Strategy & Literacy: Understanding data pipelines, quality, annotation, and storage, alongside identifying gaps or biases in training datasets.
  • Advanced Model Evaluation: Mastery of probabilistic metrics such as precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC to measure model performance beyond standard business KPIs.
  • Context Engineering: Expertise in designing how AI systems interpret user intent by managing retrieval logic and memory layers

Strategic & Leadership Skills

  • Ethical AI Governance: Prioritizing fairness, transparency, and accountability; managing compliance with emerging regulations like GDPR or the EU AI Act.
  • Translational Communication: Acting as the "translator" between data science, engineering, and non-technical stakeholders to align technical constraints with business goals.
  • Adaptive Product Strategy: Transitioning from deterministic "feature roadmaps" to adaptive learning loops that prioritize product-market fit based on real-time behavior.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying technical failures, security vulnerabilities, and ethical pitfalls in AI deployment.

What do we expect from you?

  • Overall experience of 7+ years with a 'make it happen' attitude
  • 6+ years in Product Management, & good hands-on AI experience in building products
  • Writing outstanding AI Product Requirements Documents, User Journeys, Wireframing, and Product analysis
  • Build the product design from scratch & work closely with CDR Engg team to implement the product design, test the product features, iterate & launch.
  • Understanding and empathy for business user behaviour, needs, challenges and ability to consolidate the same with clear data driven solutions and automations
  • Excellent communication skills to set crystal clear stakeholder expectations on project outcomes & call out cross-functional dependencies, with the ability to work well with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams
  • Seize the initiative. Ability to thrive in a chaotic environment and perform without a lot of detailed guidance
  • A strong bias for logical decision-making with facts & actions. Willingness to dot the i's and cross the t's to make the product successful
  • Ability to formulate a clear point-of-view on hard and ambiguous problems, drive stakeholder alignment in conversations and execute on the same
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task varied aspects and get the ball rolling to meet set expectations
