Job Description

Spark Car Wash is a high growth, institutionally backed express exterior car wash company serving the Northeast. Spark is growing fast and plans to open a significant number of modern car wash locations throughout NJ, NY, and PA. Spark’s success is driven by a relentless focus on making the car wash an energizing experience for all, delivering a consistently excellent experience for customers and creating an enriching environment for employees. Guided by our values, Spark’s vision is to become the largest car wash operator in the region and the premier car wash brand in the market.

Position Summary

The Product Manager (Operations & Systems) is a cross-functional leader responsible for the technical and operational heartbeat of Spark Car Wash. This role ensures that our customer-facing technology (POS) and our physical output (Wash Quality) are perfectly synchronized. You will serve as the primary architect for site-level system setups, the lead educator for General Managers on operational technology, and the objective voice of performance through rigorous Facilities Management (FM) and Wash Quality reporting. Your goal is to eliminate operational friction and guarantee a premium, consistent experience across all locations through data transparency and high standards.

Essential Functions

  • System Deployment: Lead the end-to-end setup and configuration of Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software for new site commissions and existing site refreshes.
  • Operational Training: Design and execute comprehensive training programs for General Managers (GMs) focusing on POS utilization, member management, and site-level troubleshooting.
  • Quality Governance: Conduct systematic Wash Quality Inspections to ensure mechanical, chemical, and systemic components produce a vehicle output that meets the "High Wash Quality Standard."
  • Performance Auditing: Develop and distribute "Transparency FM Performance" reports that objectively measure equipment uptime, maintenance completion, and site-level technical compliance.
  • Data Strategy: Maintain and iterate on Wash and FM Reporting dashboards to provide executive leadership with a "single source of truth" regarding site health and production efficiency.
  • Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as the bridge between the Facilities Management team and Site Operations to ensure technical issues are reported, tracked, and resolved with full transparency

  • Proven train-the-trainer capability, translating complex technical processes into clear, repeatable workflows for General Managers and site teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high-quality mindset, maintaining high standards for wash output, equipment performance, and facility maintenance.
  • Ability to deliver candid performance feedback to site leadership while maintaining a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
