STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India. Job Summary The Product Manager serves as the AV Product Manager Liaison, ensuring seamless technology operations that directly protect and enable tour revenue. This role bridges technical execution, vendor coordination, and strategic alignment with tour initiatives to maintain high standards of reliability, readiness, and innovation across all tour technology platforms. The position focuses on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and proactive planning to minimize disruptions and enhance system performance. This individual acts as the central point of contact for AV operational updates, vendor escalations, and leadership reporting. Location & Work Type Location: New York, New York Work Type: Hybrid (4 days onsite, Friday remote) Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with tour stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and upcoming initiatives. Align tour priorities with AV operations to ensure zero disruption to tour technology during content updates or system changes. Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable technology improvement plans and process refinements. Manage onsite engineer support schedules in alignment with tour operations. Oversee vendor performance, ensuring adherence to scope of work expectations and service level commitments. Coordinate time-sensitive content synchronization and technology updates to ensure operational readiness. Respond to hardware and software escalations in a timely manner and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Develop and maintain proactive maintenance calendars, including system updates, testing windows, and equipment lifecycle planning. Identify operational and technological risks to tour continuity and implement mitigation strategies. Provide timely updates to leadership regarding system health, vendor performance, and key risks. Establish structured communication channels between vendors, tour operations, and internal AV stakeholders. Prepare summaries and performance insights related to vendor support and system reliability metrics. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in product management, AV technology operations, or technology program management. Experience managing third-party vendors and coordinating cross-functional technical teams. Strong understanding of hardware/software lifecycle management and operational risk mitigation. Proven ability to align technology initiatives with revenue-impacting business objectives. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills. Preferred (Optional): Experience supporting live events, tours, or broadcast-related technology environments. Familiarity with AV systems, LED technologies, or synchronized content platforms. Experience developing proactive maintenance and system lifecycle strategies. PMP or Agile certification. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
