Job Description
The Product Manager, Marketing serves as the point person for all aspects of assigned products, leading product marketing strategy, lifecycle management, and goâtoâmarket execution. Working crossâfunctionally with R&D, Sales, Marketing Communications, Finance, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, this role drives product growth, customer engagement, and longâterm profitability.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Derive customer insights to guide product management strategy.
- Lead new product launches and support growth of legacy brands.
- Develop unique value propositions aligned with customer needs.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including value pricing, brand laddering, and portfolio optimization.
- Build 5âyear product forecasts (top and bottom line), analyze historical data, monitor profitability, and drive market share growth.
- Validate operational product forecasts within the SIOP/procurement process.
- Quantify market opportunities, build business cases, conduct NPV analysis, and identify portfolio gaps and white spaces.
- Educate internal sales teams and external partners on product technologies and pipeline.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to create integrated marketing and product plans for key customers.
- Design, deploy, and track channel marketing programs, including seller incentives, rebates, and earlyâfill programs.
- Partner with Technical Development and Product Management teams to leverage customer insights for campaigns and product development.
- Support R&D in guiding the innovation pipeline and commercializing research/trial results.
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications on marketing materials and campaigns, ensuring strong and modern brand representation.
- Support product marketing strategies in both existing and new international markets.
- Participate in interviews for team talent acquisition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Agronomy, or related field.
- MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and/or brand management.
- Agriculture Experience, specifically in the areas of crop nutrition, fertilizer enhancers, seed inoculants and treatments, biologicals, bio stimulants and micronutrients is preferred.
