CMA CGM is looking for an experienced Network Security Product Manager to join our Global Cybersecurity team located in the Montreal office. With more than 250 team members, the Group Cybersecurity Department covers all subsidiaries and entities of CMA CGM, with a global roadmap composed of 6 major domain streams (Maritime, Logistics, Ships, Terminals, Warehouses, and Subsidiaries). The Department currently monitors around 80 projects and provides through its 24/7 Operations continuous reliability. POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Manager is accountable for the vision and value proposition of a GSO security product. They define the product strategy, own and drive the roadmap and maximize the value delivered by leading product experts who continuously enhance tool capabilities, ensuring sustained alignment with business needs and the evolving technology landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Vision, strategy & communication

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision, set objectives and expected outcomes, and build a continuously refined roadmap while making prioritization decisions based on business value, risks, dependencies and constraints
  • Prepare and present key expertise product topics to decision boards, supporting informed decision-making and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Act as a product ambassador across internal entities (IT, Cybersecurity, Operations, etc.), ensuring effective communication, alignment and cross‑team understanding of the product's value, direction and evolution

Product value proposition

  • Define, monitor and analyze expertise KPIs staying aligned with GSO Office and G&P control framework
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset focused on product evolution, expert investigations and capability quality

Product Backlog & Ways of working

  • Maintain a product backlog capturing product evolutions from operation's needs, market features and business priorities
  • Organize and drive product improvement initiatives and expert service delivery, ensuring effective coordination, prioritization and alignment with contributors

Quality, Sustainability & Operational readiness

  • Ensure the product service catalog is defined, maintained and kept up to date, reflecting available services, capabilities and operational expectations
  • Integrate quality, security, compliance and product debt considerations into product evolution decisions
  • Ensure that product services are properly documented, including procedures; operational guidelines and supporting documentation required for expertise

People Management & HR Responsibilities for expertise team

  • Setting individual and team objectives, aligned with product priorities and GSO strategy
  • Supporting the development and upskilling of expertise team members
  • Providing regular guidance and feedback
  • Conducting annual performance reviews and follow-up discussions
  • Supporting onboarding, team engagement and long-term capacity building

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA: valid work permit, permanent resident or citizen.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
  • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, product management, or IT governance are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Certified Agile Product Owner, ITIL v4).

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills, managing an IT / Security operations team
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals & Frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK
  • security Product Domains Network & Cloud Security (NGFW, SASE, Zscaler, AWS/Azure Security)
  • Metrics & Governance: Ability to define, track, and analyze cybersecurity performance metrics (KRIs/KPIs, SLAs/SLOs and agent coverage
  • DevSecOps & Automation: Understanding of CI/CD pipeline security, automation concepts (GSO Automation Factory), and API-driven integrations.
  • Strong experience in production run & service continuity
  • Good knowledge of incident, problem & escalation management
  • Experience managing L1/L2/L3 support teams
  • Good understanding of automation concepts and runbook‑driven operations
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities
  • Good knowledge of monitoring, alerting and operational tooling

Other:

  • Strong skills in operational processes and documentation
  • Experience in 24/7 environments and on‑call models
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Good analytical and decision‑making skills
  • English Written and Spoken required, French is an asset
  • Leadership, team coaching and service‑oriented mindset
