Job Description:

As a Product Manager for HPE Private Cloud, you will help plan and deliver customer-facing programs that increase awareness, consideration, and adoption of HPE’s private cloud offerings for running and managing enterprise workloads. You will work with cross-functional partners to translate product updates into clear messaging, launch assets, and sales enablement that connect capabilities to customer outcomes such as faster app delivery, improved reliability, stronger governance, and better cost control.

This is a hands-on role for an early-career PM who is strong in collaboration, structured thinking, and execution. You will support integrated GTM plans across key private cloud themes such as hybrid cloud operations, workload modernization (VMs, containers, and cloud-native apps), security and governance, and platform efficiency in partnership with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams.

You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable learning private cloud and hybrid IT concepts well enough to ask good questions, support positioning, and coordinate inputs from technical subject-matter experts. You will help ensure customer-facing materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned to product direction.

You will work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and go-to-market teams to bring HPE Private Cloud capabilities to market through coordinated launches, campaign support, and clear sales plays.

This role partners with Product and Marketing stakeholders to keep GTM messaging aligned to the roadmap, ensure deliverables land on time, and help integrate Private Cloud into broader hybrid cloud platform narratives and seller motions.

Responsibilities

  • Support integrated GTM plans for HPE Private Cloud, including launches, refreshes, and campaign moments across awareness/consideration/preference and demand generation.
  • Help develop and maintain value propositions, positioning, and messaging that connect Private Cloud capabilities to customer outcomes (e.g., simpler hybrid operations, workload modernization, security/governance, and improved cost visibility).
  • Coordinate creation of customer- and seller-facing assets (e.g., web copy, solution briefs, presentations, FAQs, and guided walkthroughs) by partnering with Marketing Communications, product teams, and technical SMEs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to gather inputs and keep launches and GTM deliverables aligned to roadmap milestones.
  • Support analyst relations and PR motions by helping prepare briefing materials, collecting competitive inputs, and coordinating reviews with internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report program and campaign performance versus goals (e.g., engagement, pipeline contribution, product adoption, and attach/upsell signals), and contribute to closed-loop analysis and improvement ideas.
  • Help maintain consistent messaging and terminology across customer-facing deliverables (campaigns, press requests, sales content, digital marketing, and regional marketing materials) and coordinate reviews/approvals.
  • Perform analysis to support GTM decisions (e.g., competitive activity, market messaging, and campaign learnings) using syndicated and/or primary research.
  • Support GTM program operations such as budget tracking, purchase order coordination, and tool/process adherence as needed.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, GTM, or related roles.
  • Interest in private cloud and hybrid cloud, with the ability to learn concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical and semi-technical audiences (e.g., how customers run, govern, and modernize workloads on a private cloud platform).
  • Demonstrated ability to create or coordinate compelling messaging and content with guidance from senior team members.
  • Sales and/or channel experience is a plus, along with comfort working in fast-moving, competitive markets.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Working knowledge of product marketing and GTM fundamentals (positioning, messaging, launches, campaign support, and sales enablement).
  • Comfort operating in a changing cloud market and adapting plans as priorities and inputs evolve.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and presentations.
  • Ability to create and manage high-quality GTM assets (briefs, presentations, web copy, email nurtures) by coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform positioning and go-to-market decisions.
  • Creativity and intellectual curiosity to break through market noise and earn attention.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, including basic budget tracking and on-time delivery of GTM deliverables.
  • Ability to synthesize product and competitive information into clear recommendations for messaging, content priorities, and seller guidance.

Complexity

Moderate. This role supports a private cloud portfolio by coordinating cross-functional GTM activities and delivering customer-facing assets and program execution. Interaction is primarily internal and cross-functional, with occasional support for external-facing activities (e.g., launches, briefings, and events) under guidance from senior team members.
