About Vermont Information Processing (VIP)

VIP is a leading technology platform serving the beverage alcohol industry. We power the operations of suppliers, distributors, and retailers. Our marketing team is central to driving the revenue growth that fuels everything we build. This role sits at the intersection of marketing execution and commercial impact.

Role Summary

Ready to make a massive impact? You will be joining a growing Product Marketing team, meaning you won’t just be executing, you will be a foundational pillar of our Go-To-Market (GTM) engine.

VIP is an established industry leader boasting an incredibly strong, deeply loyal customer base that trusts us to power their daily operations. In this role, you will get your hands on a vast, market-leading product portfolio. You won’t just support these products; you will have the unique opportunity to own the messaging for core solutions, actively inform our GTM plans, and collaborate directly with product leaders to shape the future roadmap and vision of our software.

The Associate Product Marketer accelerates VIP’s ability to bring products and features to market in ways that drive adoption, expansion, and pipeline. You will support the full product marketing lifecycle, from messaging and positioning to launch execution and sales enablement, working closely with product, sales, and demand gen to ensure every release creates commercial momentum. If you are an ambitious, revenue-minded marketer looking for a role with high visibility, true product ownership, and growth potential, this is it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of positioning and messaging for VIP’s product portfolio, including AI-driven features, supplier tools, and distributor solutions
  • Create sales enablement content — battlecards, objection handling, feature one-pagers— that helps reps win competitive deals
  • Execute product launch plans in partnership with the Senior Product Marketer, demand gen, and product teams
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and customer interviews to surface insights that sharpen messaging and improve conversion
  • Maintain VIP’s competitive intelligence library — tracking competitor moves, pricing changes, and market positioning
  • Support the development of case studies, testimonials, and ROI calculators that help buyers justify purchase decisions
  • Partner with demand gen to develop campaign messaging for product-led campaigns
  • Work with the design team to direct web page design and web copy that is designed to convert visitors to the demand gen funnel
  • Write customer newsletters, blogs, white papers, and other lead-gen content as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of product marketing, content marketing, or sales enablement experience in B2B SaaS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical features into buyer-facing value
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable using data to test messaging and measure launch performance
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams
  • Familiarity with the beverage alcohol industry or three-tier distribution a plus
  • Experience automating workflows and leveraging AI to streamline GTM processes is a major plus. Familiarity with HubSpot (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub) is highly preferred

How This Role Drives Revenue

  • Sales cycle length reduction attributed to improved enablement materials
  • Product adoption rates following launches supported by PMM content
  • Win rate improvement in competitive deals where battlecards are deployed
  • Pipeline contribution from product-led campaigns
  • Content engagement metrics — battlecard usage, one-pager downloads, sales tool adoption

Benefits Include:

  • Health Insurance
  • Vision and Dental Expense Reimbursement
  • 401k Match & Employer Contributions
  • Life and Disability Insurance
  • Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Discounted Gym Memberships
  • Combined Time Off and Floating Holidays
  • Flex and Hybrid Schedules
  • On-site Child Care Center (VT)
  • On-site Fitness Center (VT)
  • On-site Health Clinic (VT)
