Your Role on Our Team:

As a part of the Product Safety team, the Technical Publications department creates the operator’s manuals, on-product labels, and service literature needed to obtain certifications and ensure the end-user fully understands how to use Milwaukee products safely and effectively.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Safety department, including Technical Publications, Safety, and Regulatory teams, with tasks supporting the creation and maintenance of domestic and international products.

  • Complete tasks such as compiling data, researching topics, data entry, vendor requests, closing projects, filing electronic paperwork, providing artwork files to suppliers, maintain databases, etc.

  • Powerful written and verbal communication skills

  • Capacity to stay on schedule

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Understanding of how you impact projects and company goals

  • Software skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Requires a High School diploma

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Software skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign and Illustrator

  • Software skills in SharePoint/PowerBI

  • Data entry experience

  • Oracle and TeamCenter experience

  • Technical background/Strong mechanical aptitude

  • General knowledge of proper power tool use and safety

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • May require to wear personal protective equipment which includes, but is not limited to, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection

  • May work in laboratories and/or controlled, enclosed, restricted areas

  • Noise levels range from moderate to loud

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

  • May require travel dependent on company needs
