Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.

• Develops software for avionics and real-time embedded systems using C, C++, Ada, and Java.

• Develops hardware and software-based product security solutions for protection of critical military information and technology.

• Implements code for usability, readability, and maintainability in safety-critical systems.

• Performs Ada coding for safety-critical systems and embedded software in C and C++.

• Uses lifecycle configuration management tools including GitLab and Agile tools including Jira.

• Applies cryptography and other security protocols for product security solutions.

• Works in DevSecOps environment for software development and integration.

• Uses Python for automation and performs unit testing for software verification.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

• 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

• 2+ years of experience in software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems or firmware design using C, C++, Ada, or Java.

• Experience in Ada coding for safety-critical systems.

• Experience with embedded software in C and C++.

• Preferred: 9+ years of experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems using C, C++, Ada, or Java.

• Preferred: 1+ years of experience with lifecycle configuration management tools including GitLab and Agile tools including Jira.

• Preferred: Experience working in a DevSecOps environment, with cryptography and security protocols, and working knowledge in cyber security, secure computing, or anti-tamper.
