- Own daily production accounting for 30 operated wells — this is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role
- Reconcile purchaser statements against system data to make sure volumes and payments match
- Handle the manual, administrative day-to-day
- Ensure accurate and timely payment collection for all production sold
- Enter run tickets and production data to keep records clean and current
- Prepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division
- Set up new wells and equipment configurations in Quorum ODP
- Enter run tickets and contract compressor data for third-party contractors who don't have direct system access
- Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applications
- Support general accounting duties as needed — this is a small team and everyone pitches in
- Monitor incoming emails and make sure documents are saved and organized
- Accounting professional with AP/AR, reconciliations (preferably from oil and gas company)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning the work in a small, hands-on team
- Quorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirements
- Experience with state bonds or surety bond compliance is a plus
