Job Description
DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE/DELIVERY DRIVERThe Distribution Associate is the support system for the Product Distribution Team. This person will support all logistics related to the labeling, packaging and dissemination of in-house products. This is an integral position that will work hand-in-hand with multiple managers and team members to support retail and wholesale success. Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare workstation daily and maintain a clean and productive work area.
- Accurately weigh and package designated products.
- Serve as a level of quality control and report any issues observed.
- Be familiar compliance guidelines for cannabis packaging and be able to articulate any known issues.
- Get proficient with the in-house produced line and be confident in steps and procedures to completely prepare items for distribution.
- Responsible for proper use, safety, maintenance, and sanitation of designated equipment.
- Accurately and completely document workflow via mechanisms provided.
- Transport product between locations as assigned including: cultivation, manufacturing and retail deliveries.
- Help prepare orders for pickup and delivery.
- Carefully follow all SOP’s and PPE requirements.
- Previous experience in a cannabis or similar warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of cannabis and its products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Current MED badge required.
- Valid Driver’s Licenses
- Valid ID, 21 and over only.
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude is a must.
- Sense of responsibility to abide by all company policies and procedures as well as compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- An eye for style, maintaining a neat and well-groomed appearance, as well as good personal hygiene. Ensure that all clothing follows the company dress code.
- The ability to creatively cultivate professional relationships.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs multiple times per day.
- Schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business and can include nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and lift for long periods of time
- Ability to drive and sit in traffic. Ability to unload and accurately complete multiple deliveries per day.
