Job Description

Production and Inventory Associate - 26-00290

Location: Ashland, Ohio Pay: $15.00 per hour Shift: First shift, 5:30 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Schedule: Monday Friday with overtime as needed

Spherion Mid Ohio is looking for Production and Inventory Associate to support a local manufacturing operation in Ashland. This position helps keep products moving from production into the warehouse and ready for shipping.

What You'll Do

Use handheld barcode scanners to track and organize inventory
Monitor completed products coming from production
Move tables of products from production to shipping and inventory areas
Scan and verify warehouse shelf and bin locations
Enter and confirm information in the inventory management system
Keep inventory organized and accurately located
Work with production and shipping teams to prevent delays or inventory buildup
Maintain scanning equipment and follow workplace safety procedures
Complete other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Good attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Basic computer and handheld-scanner skills
Clear communication and the ability to work as part of a team
Previous warehouse, inventory or material-handling experience is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

Walk throughout the facility for extended periods
Frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift items weighing between 25 and 50 pounds
Push and pull tables or inventory
Work safely around moving production equipment
Use fine hand movements to operate scanners and handle books
