Job Description
Pinnacle Custom Signs is looking to hire a Sign Graphic Designer, who has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience designing signs. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can formulate concepts and creates design of artwork to be used in the manufacture of signs in a rapidly growing sign company by performing the duties listed below. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software (primarily Adobe Illustrator) and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to creating final production-ready files for manufacture. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Objectives of this Role
· Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
· Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
· Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with sales team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Design Capabilities specifically with Sign Design
- Create proofs that provide the customer with a visual representation of what the finished product will look like.
- Creation of final, production-ready files for both print and three-dimensional fabrication to be produced.
- Proficient and Competent in Adobe Suite; most importantly Adobe Illustrator
- Organized and Able to Keep a Schedule/Calendar
- Ability to Keep Contact with Multiple Outsourced Vendors and Installers
- Customer Service
- Will be expected to be customer facing
- Attention to Details in Quality (Quality Control Experience)
- Will need to be able perform Quality Control for errors or mistakes in Size, Color, Shape, Spelling, Etc.
- Technical Ability and Computer Literacy
- Able to use Outlook
- Able to use Microsoft Office Suite of products
Qualifications
· Previous experience in graphic design specifically in the sign industry. Minimum 1-2 years.
· Knowledge of design and photo-editing software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite
· Experience with FlexiSign software a plus
· A graphic design portfolio showing examples of signs you have designed would be helpful.
· Deadline and detail-oriented

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
