Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Production Artist II. This role is focused on basketball apparel graphics, where sport, design, and culture intersect. You will have the opportunity to work on highly visible products across Cut & Sew and Tees, redefining graphics for athletes and consumers alike.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a design and/or production environment
- Advanced knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite
- Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables
- Knowledge of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates
- Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team
- Laser focus on the critical details that often get missed
- Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
- Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community
- Applicants must be LOCAL (No Relocation) able to work directly for the company on W2
- Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Browzwear)
- Experience with Color Design
- Understanding of Smartsheet, Airtable, and Miro
- A love for sports is a bonus but a love for design is essential
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Design to create and finalize graphic details across multiple levels of product, from on athlete to retail
- Participate in Production Art meetings and alignment
- Create high-volume schematics and Client-down product page creation
- Document creation for downstream partners and review strike-offs
- Track and maintain updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval
- Learn new tools and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle
