Job Description
Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for production associate positions at a bagel company in Meriden, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position. The production associate plays a crucial role in various aspects of bagel production, from dough preparation to baking, while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.The hours are 2 p.m.-10:30 p.m. (or until production is complete), Monday-Friday. The salary is $17-$21 an hour.Job Responsibilities: Multi-task and move within bagel and cream cheese production for extended periods of timeAssist in preparing established recipes, including mixing ingredients bagel and cream cheese production, shaping dough, mixing cream cheese, and fulfilling cream cheese and bagels orders Operate machinery and equipment involved with the production of cream cheese, such as mixersPrep ingredients utilizing ranges and stoves Monitor production processes to ensure that cream cheese and bagel products meet quality standards including texture, consistency, flavor and packaging integrityOccasionally receive and put away products. Maintain clean work environmentOther duties as assignedJob Requirements: Experience working in a food production environmentServSafe certification strongly preferred Experience working with heavy machineryAn eye for detail and solving challenges Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenWillingness to help in other area when needed Able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for long periods and frequently lifting 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
